My AMZ Importer Experience
AMZ Importer and us have had a few years of working relationship. This is a conversation towards the end of our business relationship when we started having a hard time understanding what's happening to our inventory and have a hard time getting ahold of them and getting some straightforward answers (to be fair, we had to let a worker go and I took over the conversation with them).
This is a direct copy of Facebook messenger of our conversation. We tried to reach out to AMZ Importer by phone and email (in our email, we can see if a message has been read); no reply to our questions. Hence we left a negative facebook feedback on their Facebook group & started a message there. This is where the conversation began and all except for a call happened on facebook messenger.
We did not alter any of the post/text. We neither recommend for or against their service; all we want to do is let everyone have this information of our conversation so they can make a decision on their own.
TL;DR: We had issues communicating with AMZ Importer (we are probably at fault too); we decided it's best to pull our inventory and requested in February. Every month it's some reason why it cannot be done but finally received our goods in August.

Wait...I’m definitely not familiar with you requesting your items to be sent to you 4 months ago. I do recall asking for an inventory from one of your employees and we notified him that we were moving locations in February and would be able to do it after that. Then we spoke to the same employee and had a productive conversation and we got him a google sheet for him to fill out. You then emailed and said you didn’t have access, at which point we added you. Then we haven’t heard anything until you emailed this week.

As I noted earlier, we CAB and WILL our everything on pallets and send it back to you. We have absolutely no issues with that. However, we are going to follow a process and do it accordingly.

The process that I am speaking of is how we process requests from clients. Im sorry, but we aren’t going to stop processing clients orders in order to fulfill your request. There is a queue, which you will be put in to, and we will process the order when it is your turn. Additionally, I’m not going to put added stress on our employees while we are out of the office. Again, to reiterate, we have no issues getting you your items. None whatsoever. With that being said, it will be done in an orderly manner.

Hi Richard, this is Jace. Are you still having removals/returns sent to us? Also, with the large amount of items, I believe it would be easier to send one pallet at a time. Kind of like the old saying of how to eat an elephant, one bite at a time. Thoughts?

It cost $400-500 for 1 pallet at a time or $600-700 for a few pallets

You mention in March before honeymoon you should be able to get to it after and is confident can be done end of March. This week is end of April. And from the sounds of it not much progress? You said you don't want the stock which I believe you but at the same time.. it seems like we will never get our stock back? It's what we asked beginning of year and it's going to be may now. I hope you can understand my frustrations

Richard, you're absolutely correct. I did say that. And you know what, life happened. I had an unexpected surgery less than 10 days ago after having my initial surgery in late December. My wife was diagnosed with a major heart defect that has had us in more doctors appointments than a 39 year old woman should have to go. So that took priority.
In regards to progress, there is progress. Again, are you still having returns/removals sent to us?

Or I can try to see if I can fly out myself and just spend half a day to sort through my stuff if you are ok with that and bring my printer to package whatever going back to Amazon and close things out?

We understand. However, that’s not a possibility as we would be carrying too much liability should something happen to you or to our other clients products. As April mentioned, we will discuss it to figure out a game plan. She had a TIA about two weeks ago and have been dealing with the aftermath of it and subsequent doctors appts.

Unfortunately, Richard, there are things that occurred that were beyond our control. One of our employees had a miscarriage. April had a TIA. One employee had major arm surgery. And these things have put a big kink in our productivity. Rest assured, you will get all of your items.

I am truly sorry for all the misfortune events. Well by the time you do get to it (which is still TBD after all this time) most, if not all, will not be valuable. I don't think our communication is worth any continuation as it has been empty promises and issues. We are a business too and things happen (and I hope I've been as understanding as possible) but just because they happen it is no excuse (not after a reasonable time and 6+ months is not reasonable). I can't go to my bank and tell them sorry my vendor has these problems and surely you must understand--"Rest assured I will pay you on the loan.. I don't know when but hey be human and know we got problems. You will get your money one day." This is in essence what you are doing to our business. Anyway, this is my last message. I simply no longer have any trust in either your business operations (as you have made it clear there's problems; no one ever returns my phone or emails) and all your promises (or perhaps "we only expected, never promised" as a possible excuse you might argue, the bottom line is that I can no longer believe in your words). I'll write the inventory off as this I am sure it's emotionally draining for everyone. You won't hear directly from me. My only wish at this point is that this doesn't and wouldn't happen to anyone else. Best of luck and health to you and your spouse.

I’m not sure how it won’t be of value, Richard. The items don’t have expiration dates, etc. We had been trying to figure out what your company wanted us to do with these items, dating back to when Syed was there. And our calls and communication would go unanswered. On the contrary, we have indeed returned calls, answered emails, and responded to messages. So, it’s still in your your best interest NOT to write these items off. I’m suspecting it will be around 5 pallets worth of items. We will let you know the exact dimensions and weight when they are available. Thanks.

Here are the details: Door to door, $1,175. Pickup would be tomorrow and estimated delivery is 7/18/19. I say estimated because it's a consolidated shipment and it depends on how many stops they have and how long each stop takes. So, you can play this game all you want. We aren’t the logistics company. The logistics company that was used is a company that has numerous years of logistics experience, more than the years you’ve been alive. So go ahead, play this game. You’ll lose in the end when they handle the situation they seem best. It’s out of our hands. It would be in your best interest to do the right thing.

As for whether it’s worth it or not, we are not technicians to determine what is good, what is bad, what is able to be refunded, etc. we did as you instructed. Period.

Understood. My comments were not untruthful nor rude. They were very honest.
Additionally, if you do as you say you are, make sure you post everything, including the fact that you went two years without paying for our services that you signed a contract for. Or, we can both be professional, chalk this up as lessons learned for the both of us, and move on with our businesses. Threats, as you’ve made, are not the way to solve issues.
